Dont ask Dont tell

I do not agree with don't ask don't tell. It is not fair to the thousands of gay's in the military who must must hide who they are. In no way is it fair to a gay man or women that they must hide from their fellow soldiers that they are gay.  I thought it was very interesting to learn about the annual Christmas party in the service. I never really looked at it from that point of view. Moreover,  the military should not allow straight men or women to bring their partners but not allow gays to bring theirs. I think this ruling needs to be overturned and it is obvious after the results of the study. 70 percent of people in the military think that it would cause little to no effect if gays were allowed to serve openly in the military. This top down approach of not allowing gays to serve must come to an end. Washington should not be allowed to control whether or not gays serve openly in the armed forces.
